Disclaimer: This is a prototype. Everything is subject to change, including the name - which is a placeholder. The game is very bare-bones right now - you can help change that by giving me your feedback or reporting a bug.

In this 3D co-op metroidvania, you play as a lowly creature in a harsh and unforgiving ecosystem. You must survive by hunting prey for food and finding shelter, whilst avoiding becoming prey yourself. However, there is a greater danger that nothing can overcome…
This game uses proximity voice chat. As such, I do not recommend that you play this in the classroom/computer lab as the experience would be spoilt.
I initially started this project about 5-6 months ago. Multiplayer games are hard, but I think the hard part's done.

Known Issues
- The game may forever get stuck in loading purgatory, regardless of game restarts.
- If this occurs, restart Steam. Click on Steam in the far top-left of your Steam client and hit exit. After fully shutting down, re-open Steam as per usual.
- This is a strange bug, I know.

- Added LAN Multiplayer
- Steam is still required for the game to run. This is just an alternative way of playing
- Added new Karma mechanic
- Added new UI for new game and intermission screens
- Voice chat is unfortunately unavailable during these times because of this change

Install instructions
Please read, as this is rather important:
This game requires Steam. It has to be installed and running in the background. You must also be signed into a Steam account. The only way to join friends is through Steam.
Extract the ZIP file for your operating system and run the executable. You'll know the game is working correctly if Steam is saying that you're playing Spacewar.
If you want to use Steam Overlay with this game (to make inviting friends easier in fullscreen), go to your Steam client, click Add a Game in the bottom left, Add a Non-Steam Game, and select the game executable you downloaded. Launch the new entry in your Steam library to launch the game with the Steam Overlay enabled.
If encountering issues, please report a bug.
Please note that, if you're using the MacOS version, the game may not work - I'm receiving warnings that say the game is broken when I try exporting it, but I cannot verify. Please report a bug if this is the case.
